Ingredients
2 1/4 cups Spelt flour
2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/4 tsp ground cardamom
1/4 tsp sea salt1
1/2 cups almond milk
2 tbsp coconut oil, melted
2 Tbsp maple syrup
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 Tsp turmeric (Optional)
Method
In a bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, baking soda, cardamom and salt. Mix until well combined.
In another bowl combine milk, oil, vanilla and maple syrup and whisk until well combined. Add mixture to the dry ingredients and whisk until smooth.
Heat a large flat pan over medium heat with a little bit of coconut oil.Pour 1/4 cup of the batter into the hot pan.
Cook until bubbles form in the pancake and flip to cook the other side. Cook one more minute.Repeat with all the batter. Serve with fruit, coco- nut yogurt and maple syrup.
