Lavender Moon Milk

Moon milk is a Ayurvedic sleep promoting tonic with spices that can help you get a better night sleep! You can drink this fragrant warm milk anytime but is particularly beneficial before bed. Lavender , ashwaganda, blue spirulina powder, cinnamon and maple syrup added your choice choice of milk , make this drink very delightful and calming that can help you to get a good night sleep.

I have struggled with insomnia and anxiety which affected my sleeping cycles significantly and this and other natural methods like aromatherapy and meditation have helped to get this under control. So if you have any trouble sleeping this is a nice recipe that is worth trying before bed!




Lavender Moon Milk


Serves: 1

Prep Time: 2 min

Cooking Time: 3 min


Cooking Time

Ingredients

1 tsp Ashwagandha⁠

1/2 tsp Lavender ⁠

1/4 tsp Cardamom ⁠

1/2 tsp Cinnamon

1 tsp Blue Spirulina ( I used blu spirulina from @unicornsuperfoods⁠)

2 Cup Oats or Coconut Milk

1 tsp Maple Syrup⁠


Method


  1. Add all ingredients to a small pot. Mix and bring milk to a boil, reduce heat to low and cook for another 2 min whisking constantly. Serve and enjoy!
