Vegan Bao Buns

Writer's picture: thefitstitchthefitstitch

Fluffy Gluten free bao buns filled with tons of asian flavours! This recipe requires a bit of patience but it is 100 worth it! Straight from an asian restaurant.

This buns need to set and sire for about 2 hours before they are ready to steam so they are fluffy and bouncy. But don't worry the prep time is under 10 min so all you have to do is knead and wait until they are ready to steam.

You can fill them up with pretty much anything you have at hand but my favourite combo is veggie sticks, coriander, crushed peanuts and hoisin pulled jackfruit ( You can find my recipe here)

So get cooking and have this colourful and tasty rainbow bao buns for a fun asian food kinda night!
